Arthur Hull and Kathy Quain with the lego gift.
|
To celebrate the 10th Annual Hawaii Facilitator's Playshop, Kathy Quain, Craig Ramsell and some additional Hawaii Playshop grads sent a surprise gift to Arthur. It's just one way to say
"Thank you for bringing our community together again and again, Arthur!"The word is out that Arthur Hull not only has percussionitis but also a touch of legoitis. This "logo lego" grew out of the image of making a simple lego of Arthur's Village Music logo. With the computer artistry of Gordon Lustig, a musician and lego mosaic designer, the project grew to include a palm tree, Arthur's smile, hat and more. Kerry "Shakerman" Greene made the mistake of meeting Kathy and others for drinks on his lay over through San Francisco on the way to this year's Playshop. As one could imagine, he was put to work in the bar: legoing! Within a week, Mary Anderson received the gift at Camp Mokuleia in Oahu and surprised Arthur with it at the Playshop. Special thanks to Whacky Music, Inc., and BOOMWHACKERS® creator, Craig Ramsell, for providing the majority of financial support for this gift! And many thanks to our Mosaic Designer, Gordon Lustig . |
