MusicForTherapy.com is interviewing Music Therapists to serve clients in the San Francisco Bay Area including Hayward. One or more Music Therapists are needed to serve these groups and individual clients.

Position: Music for Therapy has openings for Music Therapists to provide group and individual Music Therapy sessions.
Projected Start Date: Ideal start date is Sept 25, 2021.
This position will have the potential to expand additional clinical hours. Applicant must have reliable transportation and equipment, as the position requires travel to multiple sites. Some sessions are remote at the time and hope to be in-person when public health is safer.
Qualifications: For the Music Therapist position, a Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy, MT-BC (Music Therapist - Board Certified) status.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong musical skills including voice and at least one accompanying instrument such as piano.
Experienced engaging clients through music including facilitating group playing.
Experience providing in-person and also on-line services.
Experience leading groups and providing individual sessions.
Committed to on-going professional development.
Job Type: Part-time Contractual.
